our wax contains soy, and soy softens in heat. sending everything at the start of the week means no candle sits in a hot truck or a warehouse over a weekend. orders to arizona and nevada travel two-day air for the same reason, at no extra cost.

andromeda uses a soy-based wax blend, dyed black throughout, with phthalate-free fragrance and a cotton wick. the wax is hand-poured in california, and every candle carries the astm f2058 fire-safety label.

yes. the vessel is designed to be kept. once the wax is gone, place the vessel in the freezer for two to three hours. the remaining wax will contract and release. wipe clean with warm, soapy water. what is left is a planter, an organizer, a quiet piece of architecture on your shelf. it was designed to have a second life.

the words on every candle's safety label: burn within sight. keep out of reach of children & pets. keep away from flammable objects. trim wick to less than 1/4 inch before use. limit each burn to 3 hours.

if it arrives damaged, we replace it or refund you. if it arrives intact and it is not for you, send it back unburned within fourteen days for a full refund of the candle. store credit or an exchange if you would rather.
